The freezing liquid is applied directly to the wart for a quick and effective treatment. The applicator surrounds the wart and protects the surrounding skin.

Usually a single treatment is enough. The freezing liquid creates tissue necrosis and the skin tag typically falls off within 10–14 days.

VOORDIQ is based on dimethyl ether in liquid form, an environmentally friendly refrigerant produced from natural gas or biogas.
The applicator surrounds the wart or skin tag and the freezing liquid is applied directly to the area, with full overview and protection for healthy skin.
The cold makes the water in the cells expand and creates tissue necrosis. The cells in the wart or skin tag are frozen apart.
The body replaces the dead cells with new, healthy skin. The result is usually visible after 10–14 days.
The treatment itself takes only a few minutes.
Safe for adults and children from the age of 4.
The applicator protects the surrounding, healthy skin.
Refrigerant produced from natural gas or biogas.
Medical device, CE 0344.
No loose parts and full overview during treatment.

Warts are caused by the HPV virus and spread through direct skin contact or indirectly via floors, showers and towels. About 30 % of children and 10 % of adults are affected. Freezing treatment is the most effective method for getting rid of them quickly.
How to recognise a wart: it can be round or irregular like a small cauliflower head, and the colour varies from reddish to white, brown or grey. The size ranges from a few millimetres to several centimetres, and it is common to get several at once.
On hands they have a rough, cauliflower-like surface. On feet they are usually larger, with a hard surface and small black dots in the centre. They grow inwards and can be painful. The incubation period is 1–6 months.
Skin tags (acrochordon) are benign and non-contagious growths that often appear where the skin folds: in armpits, on the neck and under the bust. Up to 46 % of the population get them at some point. They are most often removed for aesthetic reasons.
Appearance: skin tags are soft, painless and often sit on a narrow stalk. They are skin-coloured or slightly darker and vary in size from millimetres to several centimetres.
Causes: the most common cause is skin rubbing against skin. Overweight, hormonal changes, insulin resistance and the HPV virus can also contribute.

No. You may feel a stinging sensation during the treatment, but it fades quickly once the freezing stops.
About half of all warts disappear on their own within two years, as the body builds up resistance to the virus. But because this can take a long time and warts are contagious, treatment is recommended.
